Project
Office Furniture was founded in 1928 in the East End of London. Further
expansion capacity required during the 1960s prompted the company's relocation
to Haverhill. The company was acquired from the Bloomn family by Bullough
plc in 1977.
Project
is one of the leading UK manufacturers of office furniture with eight
showrooms and studios nation-wide and employs around 400 people nationally.
The company is part of the Workplace Solutions group of Bullough plc,
who had a 1999 turnover exceeding £124 million.
There
are two factory sites in Haverhill and eight showrooms and studios nation-wide.
The Design and Development Centre is based in Haverhill, utilising some
of the best facilities and equipment available in the industry. Project
currently employees around 400 people nationally, including a very strong
direct sales force of 35.
